While working on TrekkingPartners, I’ve recently helped launch a new service that connects travellers with local travel experts in Nepal: people that we trust, and that have been guiding and travelling throughout Nepal for years.

You basically tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll put a trip plan together based on your interests and time restraints. After that, you’ll have a personalized plan to help make your decisions or you can book the entire experience through us, as well.

To get started, you can follow the link below to our new site:

Hope you have a great trip in Nepal, and feel free to post any questions below, as I’d be glad to explain more about how this works.

    Good morning,

we are an Italian family and we would like to make a trekking in Nepal (we are 4 people) in August.
I know it it th emonsoon season but I read there are areas not affected by rains that we can do, like Dolpo or Simikut trekkings
We are looking for a trekking maximum 14 days and NOT so difficult, in order to see beautiful landscapes with mountains, and local small vilalges and cultures and if it is possible tibetan temples and cultures.
Can you please suggest us something? Also we would like to know the prices for 4 people.
Thanks a lot for the information!

    • i will recommend to you upper dolpo trek Trip Highlights of Upper Dolpo Trekking:
Beautiful views as you take flight to and from Nepalgunj/Juphal
Magnificent scene Phoksundo Lake (Deepest Lake of Nepal).
Breathtaking view of Kanjirowa Himal, crystal Mountain.
Crossing Kang La, Saldang La and Jeng La pass
Adventurous camping trek to the isolated Himalayan region of Nepal.
Visit ancient monasteries of Dolpo district.

An area beyond the Himalayas, which conjures up the beauty of ancient monasteries, blue sheep and snow leopard, Dolpo is one of the most remote regions in Nepal and is located in the western part of the country between the Tibetan plateau and the Dhaulagiri ranges. The Upper Dolpo Trekking is about 24 days, which requires the trekkers to get special permission from the government. The Upper Dolpo trekking is famous as remote and restricted trekking destination in Nepal. The Dolpo district is an exceptionally isolated region, which hasn’t been in touch with the modern lifestyle, so the culture and way of living have remained same since ancient period. The trekking region was closed to foreigners until late eighties, but still trekkers aren’t allowed to go without any acquaintance, therefore group trekking is suggested for this trek route. Don’t miss the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to this trekking if you are physically capable and have got enough time to spare here. You are required to have previous experience is high altitude trekking.
