Upper Mustang Trek

I’m planning a 2 months trip to Nepal this summer and looking for partners to travel with and share the bills:)
My plan is to trek on Himalayas on budget so any idea is welcome, i thought about Mustang because summer is usually very nice there but otherwise i wouldn’t mind the anapurna circuit trek even if i guess it’s up to weather condition and as far as i heard there might be some issue with leeches…:(.
I’d love also to sightseeing Kathmandu, Lumbini and other places while i’m there and maybe a volunteer experience it could be a nice to have.
I’m a friendly, easy going and fast walker traveler so if you are the same and you would like to share a trip please don’t hesitate in contacting me!

  1. Hey! I’m doing the Annapurna Circuit in June but really need to find a second person to go into the upper Mustang with (Required by permit) I will be in the upper Mustang area around June 19-June 28 depending. Let me know if you could be in that area that early. Thanks

  2. welcome to Naturally Nepal yes very good time for Upper mustang in your entire time.

  3. Hey Robyn! I am not sure if you are still looking for a partner for your travels/hiking plans. I am also planning to travel for 2 months in China and Nepal this summer but I have not finalized my plans yet. I am interested in the upper Mustang and Nar-Phu and I can be in Kathmandu by the end of July. Hope to hear from you! Best, N.

  4. Hey guys, the same plans here. Main interest Nar Phu or Nepal. Any chance of starting few days ahead of July 31st? I’d be flying in on 26th and need to depart on 14th of August, so I’m pretty tight with the schedule. Would love to join you, though…

  5. Hi guys! I am also interested in joining you. I’m currently in Nepal and have just finished a placement at the dental hospital. My friends leave around that time and I’ll be alone until 11th August when my boyfriend arrives in Kathmandu. Is it possible to start this trek a few days earlier so that I can get back to Kathmandu on the 10th August? I would prefer the Annapurna circuit but either is fine with me as I am so happy to find a group to join as all the trekking agencies cannot join me to a group.
So I’m so glad I came across this website! I’m in Kathmandu at the moment so could even meet up beforehand:)
