Upper Mustang Trek

Hi, my name is Jenny and I will be in Nepal from the middle of July to the end of August. I really want to trek in Upper Mustang but need to share a permit. I know a lot of guides out there and can get a great price. So if you are interested let me know!

  1. Hi My name is Manon and I will also be in Nepal from the middle of July to middle of August, I would also like to do a trek in Mustang and still do not have a partner to walk with. Maybe we can talk about what we would want and see if we have the same expectations. Like to hear from you.

  2. Is the cost of the permit the cost per group? as opposed to a cost per person? I thought it was per person and so had ruled out mustang and was going to do the rainshadow part of Annapurna circuit instead. We dont have more than 12 days unfortunately so dont think can do Mustang anyway

  3. hi jenny,
i am actually already in nepal and would really like to do the trek to upper mustang. looks incredible. have you already made plans to when and where to you will be trekking?

  4. Hi Jenni, my boyfriend and I will be arriving in Kathmandu on the 22nd of July and would like to do some trekking as well. We are not sure where to head and also only have about 10 days for trekking.
Ideally we would like to go and trek in the rain shadow area.
Have you made any further plans yet with the other guys that have posted on here yet? Would it still be possible to join you?

    • Hi Nicole,

My girlfriend arrives around the same time as ye do in KTM. And we would be keen to do a trek more inline with your time requirements i.e. 10 days ish (rather than the 16 needed for trek above). We haven’t booked anything as of yet, but would also like to avoid rain 🙂 as much as possible
Let me know what you think,

  5. Hi, we are also looking at Dolpa and Mustang, would be curious as to the price and scope of the trek if you are still planning it. Also, as Mustang has gotten more accessible, would like to know if you will be doing any off the beaten path trails there. I was hoping to arrange an Upper Dolpo – Mustang trek, but may be out of my price range (Just Mustang would not be).
