Trekking in the Annapurna Region

Hi everyone,

I’m going to be in Nepal and want to do a trek sometime between the second half of October and all of November. I’m currently thinking the Annapurna circuit looks most promising, which would be about 20 days. I’m traveling alone and would love a partner or two for fun company and to split any costs! Message me if you’re interested 🙂

  4. Hi! My name is Kailey, 23 and from Canada. I am planning on being in Nepal mid october and would love to find a partner as this will be my first time in the country/trekking. I am in fairly good shape and we seem to have the same type of plan for our trip. Let me know if you’d like to talk about it some more!

  5. Hey I am planning on traveling to Nepal in early November and I will do the Annapurna Circuit. I was hoping to land on Thursday November 6 and start the trek around Saturday November 8. Would those dates work for you? I guess I haven’t booked flights yet and I can leave in late October.

I have been talking with a guide who seems like a really nice guy and his price is pretty good. He is flexible on times and is definitely willing to work with us.

Let me know if you are interested.

  7. Hi Lucy, I’m Stefano from Italy. I still don’t have plane ticket, but I should be in KTM around 22 October, and start Annapurna Circuit few days later. My plan is not to have a plan….I was thinking to do it with no porter or guide, a map should be enough, for the rest I don’t know so much because my walking speed and endurance are a mistery to me especially at that altitude and with a heavy back pack. Said this, I’d love to share the start with some good company, then we’ll see… What was your idea about backpack, porter, guide, etc.? Contact me if you’d like to chat about the trekking or meet there, if not…..have a great experience, I’m looking forward to visit Nepal!
    Ciao!!!!
    Stefano

  8. Hi Lucy, my friend Sarah and I are planning to do the Annapurna Circuit at the end of October as well. We are looking into guide companies at good prices and would love to increase our group size (especially as young women traveling abroad). We were hoping to start and end in Pokhara if possible as we’ll have been in Kathmandu for a month already before the trek. Please feel free to contact me if you’re interested!
    Best, Melissa

  9. Hey Lucy,

I am headed out on the Manasula Trek/Tsum Valley Trek (18 days) which then meets up with the the Annapurna circuit (14+ – ). Let me know if you are interested. My dates are flexable and would probably leave katmandu on the 28th of Oct. I have a post up in the Manasula region of this site for more info. Its going to be awesome.

  10. Hi, Lucy! Well I am doing the Manaslu trek starting around 25th, October, and have time until 15th, November. The Manaslu trek ends somewhere on the Annapurna trek, so there is a possibility of combination Annapurna with Manaslu. I prefer the Manaslu because it is less busy I am travelling alone as well, so if you would like to share, you are welcome. Gabi

    • Hi Gabriele!

I am planning on doing a similar trek (Manaslu/Annapurna) , might be cool to put a group together.

  12. Hi Lucy. I am also planning on trekking around Annapuna Circuit including Tilichho Lake. I am planning on November 27-28 around that date so if your starting date is flexible enough let me know we can make it happen.

  13. Hey, i am Arefin (M 27), from Bangladesh, planning to trek Annapurna Circuit from 26th/27th of november, in 12(+2 may be) days, up to Jomsom, then return to pokhara by jeep+bus. In the mean time we will probably trek to Tilicho Lake as well. so far we 2, me and Nayeem ( trekker and Photographer) from Bangladesh are confirmed. In Terms of date we may not be that flexible (may be 1 or 2 days) since our return ticket is confirmed. we will be moving neither slow nor that fast.. we will go independently. i have done Annapurna Base Camp in 2012, independently. and have some more trekking/camping experience in India and of course many in Bangladesh.. anyway, it will be good to have 2 or maybe 3 more partners with us so that we can form a small size group and share experience/culture/fun/cost + etc throughout the time.. 🙂

  14. Hi there!

I’m heading towards Poon Hill tomorrow morning or the next day after.
If you like you can join and maybe move forward when I turn back from Poon Hill? I’m going to make a little circle. I can show you! 🙂

Just an idea! Let me know what u think.

I’m going without a guide and have a individual permit. If you want we can catch a coffee in Pokhara to meet up and see how we feel!

    Cheers,
    Lutsen

  15. I am doing the Annapurna circuit alone and I am looking for a partner for safety reason. I will be in besishahar on 27 oct, which is the starting point for the trek. I can only be contacted though here as I carry a small phone and no smartphone. Sorry. So when will you arrive in besishahar?
