Trekking in nepal.

Hi everyone. I am really interested in going to Nepal this year or next year. I would like to do an independent hike without too much added cost. However I wouldn’t mind doing kala pattar to get some views of Everest. For that, I may need a guide. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions let me know. This is my first attempt to go trekking in Nepal.

    Hi Cory,

Both the Annapurna and Everest regions are pretty popular treks, you’ll enjoy both. You can go without a guide to both places but the Everest region is quite a bit higher so it helps to have a partner or a guide with you. We have a number of recommended guides on TrekkingPartners here and you can also search around Kathmandu or Pokhara.

I just wrote an article summarizes the treks in Nepal, if it can help you decide for next year 🙂
