Torres del Paine and Fitz Roy np
Hi, Im a 27 year old female veteriarian from australia looking to find some fellow trekking enthusiasts for a trip to patagonia in early 2014 – February or March.
I have previously trekked in nepal with a group and am looking to do some self guided (possibly company organised) treks in patagonia – exact details not decided upon yet.
I am happy to hear from other single travellers or small groups/couples – i am liberal and open minded and would be happy to hear from anyone with similar plans. I consider myself an easy going person but am not a huge party animal (i wont be offended if u r! however im more likely to snuggle with a good book than go dancing :p)
Please message me for more details 🙂
Cheers

If it doesn’t require much experience, I’d love to join. I moved recently to London from New York (essentially) to travel across Europe/Africa, but have wanted to do Patagonia for a while, so this sounds fantastic! If it makes any difference (and I hope it doesn’t make a big difference), I’ve never trekked extensively, but I do have a burning desire.
Other little details: I am a 23 year old male and work in London as an energy economist – hence the need for some excitement :). As it happens, we aren’t too dissimilar personality-wise, based on the little you’ve written.
Do get back to me with thoughts. The email is aditya.kumar.1989@gmail.com

Hi Kgri,
Not sure if you’ve got any of your trip planned but I’m going to be flying into BA on the 26th January, spend few days there and then onto Peninsula Valdes, then fly to El Calafate.
I’m planning on meeting up with another woman who is going hiking around Fitz Roy and Torres del Peine around the 8th Feb. I’m going to be doing the O circuit in TdelP and then spend a bit of time in El Calafate discovering the area from there.
I’ve done lots of trekking and camping, and work as an Outdoor Instructor in Scotland, UK.
If any of this interests you or the other people who have commented, get in touch and see where we can go from there.
Cheers,
Áine
Hi
My daugher and I are also vegetarians and are planning on spending two weeks off season in May (2014) in Patagonia, doing a self-guided trip to see the Moreno Glacier, back pack the Fitz Roy Trail, and backpack the W trail of Torres del Paine. Unfortunately we cannot do our trip in the Patagonian summer, so we are going off season (when the
tourists are gone and the winds die down). I would love to hear from you and find out
what (vegetarian) eateries you found and what hosterias/outfitters you liked the best that had good vegetarian food. I you want to join us in May, we would also welcome you. We are not “party animals” either and prefer a nature over a bar any night. I can
send you our itinerary if you are interested
Hi. I’ll be in Puerto Natales feb. 8th or 9th and would like to do W or full Torres circuit. I’m married middle age women (husband stays home to work) and have done lots of trekking, incl Mont Blanc circuit, north coast trail (canada) and regular hikes. Pretty resourceful and good pace but not ultra marathoner. Would like to camp most nights as heard there’s bed bugs in some Refugio’s.
Cheers, Sherry
Hi,
I’ll be in Patagonia in February. Don’t have any exact plans or anything booked yet, so I’m open-minded for any trips or ideas. I am 24 and have previously done some hiking in New Zealand. I definitely want to see the Glaciars and Torres del Paine.
Contact me if you like. Looking forward to meet nice people 🙂
Cheers, Mascha
I am up for this. I was suppose to leave for the Alps for XC skiing. But, my partner got injured. Now, I have this free time and would love to visit Patagonia.
Hello! Are you a veterinarian or a vegetarian? I couldn’t work it out! Either works for me. 🙂 I’m a vegetarian teacher.
I’m heading down to Patagonia mid Feb and am hoping to find people to do Torres with and maybe also Fitz Roy. I want to hire the gear in P.Arenas and preferably would like to tent share with a girl so let me know if our dates match up and your still seeking buddies.
I made a trip on here too, you could check it out, but I’m hoping to get down to El Calafate by about 15th Feb and then be out of Torres by the end of Feb. Perhaps we could meet up along the way for beers? I’m in BA from 28th Jan.
Xx
Hello! I fly into el Calafate Feb 7th. My boyfriend is climbing in el Chalten at the moment, I’ve been there before and would like to get back there eventually but am focused on Torres for now. I’m super interested in doing the O circuit. I am a 24 year old field biologist and very experienced in climbing and hiking, would love to join a group of tough women for the O circuit in the first week of February!
