Three Passes Trek (starting at Jiri)

Hi everyone,

I’m going to be arriving into Nepal on the 20th March and will be looking to start the Three Passes trek around 3 days later or so, catching the bus to Jiri and joining the EBC path at Phakding, going anti-clockwise and returning either to Lukla for a flight, or heading to Salleri. I will also be doing the short leg to Everest Base Camp.

Would anyone be interested in joining. I have a very open timeframe so could postpone a few days, or consider a different route.

I will be doing the trip solo, without guides or porters, although if a big enough group forms, then I would be open to the idea of sharing a guide/porters.

    Hello Jamie,

    I am thinking of doing the 3 passes (and possibly Island peak climb) around the same time too. I’ll be arriving in Kathmandu on March 10th but plan to do Annapurna circuit first and get back to Kathmandu around 21st March.

    After that I plan to to do 3-passes via Salleri/Khari-khola/panggom in anti-clockwise, returning to either Lukla or Salleri.

    Please let me know if you are interested. I am on shoestring budget as well but open to the idea of sharing a porter.

    Hello! I am also hiking independently, tentatively starting with a bus to Jiri on the 19th, so likely on trail by the 20th. I have many side trips bookmarked so there is a high likelihood we will converge! Happy to aim to hike sections together especially over the passes.

    Hi Jamie,

    I am also looking for a buddy for the Three Passes and planning on the same route. Arriving in Kathmandu on the 14th but flexible with dates and open time frame also!
    Would also be open to sharing a porter / guide.

    Hi Jamie, like yourself i,m hoping to do the three passes and E.B.C. on a shoestring budget, with or without a porter.     I will be taking a bus to Salleri on 23March to start the 3passes trek. Let me know if anyone wants to meet on the way or at the start of the trek.

    I am currently in Pokhara after AC trek.
