Three Passes Trek

Hi, I’m Adam from Exeter, England. I am looking for partner(s) to trek the 3 passes trek. I arrive in KTM on 1st November and should be good to go around the 5th Nov. I plan to do the trek unguided, counter clockwise, starting either in Jiri or Lukla.

I am fairly fit and reasonably experienced hiker, previously done the Annapurna Circuit. I am not looking to rush round, especially on the way up. I hope to include side treks; Kala Patthar, EBC, Gokyo Lakes.

It will be good to hear from anyone with similar plans 🙂

    Hi Adam…

    I plan to be Lukla and start my trek on the 8 November…..similar dates to your self .

    Born in Somerset I now live in Sydney Australia. Like you I plan to trek unguided and independent and will be trekking three passes clockwise

    Maybe send me an e-mail nearer to your departure, would be good to have a catch up…I am sure we will cross paths along the way

      Hi Ian,
      Always good to hear from a fellow west country’er.
      I read that counter clockwise is preferred due to the better acclimatisation schedule, so I am pretty set on this way round. I will certainly be in contact soon when my plans become my concrete.
