Three Passes Trek

Hey guys,

I’m David, 28 from Germany. I will arrive in Kathmandu on the 9th of November 2018.

Plans are not fixed so far. At the moment I’m looking at doing the three passes trek, starting from Bhandar (6 extra days) or Sallerie (4 extra days instead of Lukla.

As I’m not experienced but physically fit I’m searching for company to share a great experience. I’m an open minded and easy going guy who enjoys both, being social and spending time silent in nature.

We can discuss whether to book a guide or not

I’m going to leave Nepal mid December. So if our time frames match and you got similar plans or just convincing suggestions then please feel free to contact me and I’ll adjust my “plan”.

Kind regards,

David

  1. Hi David,
I’m Nikki,26 from United States. I’m in a village 2 hours away from Kathmandu right now volunteering in a dental clinic. I’m planning to do base camp/ three passes Trek in November. I’m leaving nepal on December 12th so I need to be back in Kathmandu by December 10th.

As of experience, I have done 3,4 days trek around Kathmandu and am physically fit. I’m also looking for company to join me on the trek.
If your still looking for a trekking partner Let me know we can plan out the logistics.
    Regards,
    Nikki

    • Hello Sarah, hope you doing well? I & jerusha ( female from south africa) have planned for a trip to EBC with the three passes trek. We are going to start our trip from 25th October from jiri & we will be reaching lukla on 1st nov. We have a guide in place. If you are interested to join you can join us in lukla on 1st nov. It will be nice to have you on board. Can mail you the detail itinerary.

  2. Hello David,
This is Razib from Bangladesh. I am also planning to do the Three Passes trek in November, but not decided the date. I want to do this trek without a guide, as this will increase the cost significantly. I have done a preliminary route plan.

I have done the Annapurna Base Camp Trek last year, also without a guide. If you are interested we can communicate about dates and plan the trek. Please let me know.

    Thanks
    Razib

  3. Hey guys,
I’m hoping to do the EBC and 3 Passes trek starting 1st December if anyone else is keen. I’ve done Annapurna Circuit about 6 years ago – and just love Nepal. I’m pretty fit and would love to share the cost of a guide and porter – as well as have a trekking partner!
    Cheers

  4. Hey David, I am also arriving on 9th. My friend recommended I stay at the Elbrus hostel. I’m also planning on three passes trek. But I have been recommended to start from jiri which is about a 6 hour bus ride from Kathmandu I believe and it’s a 4.5 day walk in to lukla. What time will you be arriving in the airport? Might even see you there!

First time to Nepal but I live in the Scottish Highlands – worked in the outdoors, climbed in the Alps, Scottish winter climbing, just back from a month trekking in the Pyrenees and volunteer on Scottish mountain rescue team. 27 years old. Just joined this site so not sure how it works but you can also contact me through Instagram – j.cheynne

    Safe flight mate, take care!
