Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek
I’m looking for someone to accompany me on the 3 passes trek. I’ll be leaving Kathmandu on 28th November and anticipate the trek will take 17 days, arriving back at Kathmandu on or around the 14th or 15th December.
EDIT: I have bought my flights. I’m arriving in KTM on 26th November and leaving on 16th December.
I would like to go with a company (iciclesadventuretreks.com) I used before in Nepal in 2016 when I did the Annapurna base camp trek because I know and trust the guide. He is the one in my profile picture.
I don’t mind trekking without a porter but if I had a partner we could share the costs of that. I’d prefer to go slowly too to enjoy the views and take pictures and reduce stress.
I’m of average fitness but extremely determined and I have already purchased all the equipment I need. I am definitely going on this trek even if I can’t find a partner!
About me: I’m 38, British, and I work as a teacher in Singapore. I’m easy-going and get along with everyone though you will have to endure my British sense of humour.
Probably I only want one trekking partner and I don’t mind where you’re from, but we would need to be able to communicate well. I’m afraid I can only speak basic French and Mandarin so your English will need to be good. Male or female is fine – I’d prefer my trekking partner to be somewhat of a similar age to me, let’s say mid twenties to late thirties, early forties.
