The Pyrenean Haute Route (or HRP for Haute Randonnée Pyrénéenne)
Hi all,
I am looking for a partner for a challenging unmarked trek across the Pyrenees. It is a 45 day up-and-down trek crossing the Pyrenees sea to sea. I originally planned this for next year, but my work is hibernating under COVID, so I am trying to make the most of not having a plan for the first time in my life.
It will require camping, navigation, food carrying, stamina and a lot of optimism. I don’t want the trek to be about speed, but about experience.
Ideally, departing as soon as possible = when traveling is officially allowed in France again this summer. This could be in two weeks or in 1 month.
If this sounds like an interesting plan that you would find the time for, please let me know!
