The Open Road: Let’s make a plan!

I’m flying to Kathmandu March 17th. I’m participating in a meditation course for 10 days in Kopan. I’d love to spend March 28-April 5th trekking. I’d prefer a trek that isn’t exceedingly crowded. I’m very experienced outdoors women and have trekked/climbed throughout the US and some of South America. I’d love to make concrete plans to explore this beautiful part of the world. Look forward to meeting you!

  1. Hi Elisa

I’ll be in Nepal from Mid March to early May and am keen to do some trekking whilst I’m there. I’m considering the Annapurna Sanctuary trek or Manaslu but I’m open to other treks too. I’ve never been to Nepal and am really looking forward to it. I guess I’m relatively outdoorsy… but my experience is mainly trekking in the English Lake District, Wales, and France – which is beautiful, but not high altitude stuff!

Anyway, will look forward to hearing from you.

  2. Hi Elisa,
My name is Jeff. I’m a 46 year old American living with my wife in Bangladesh, and coming to Nepal for a trek soon. I’ll be in Kathmandu the first week in March. I have done the Everest base camp trek and langtang trek, and I’m open to doing any 14-21 day treks.
If this suits you and would like to meet up in Kathmandu, let me know your details and we can plan that.

  3. Hi Verity and Elisa,
I arrive in Kathmandu March 14 and am looking to head up to Pokhara to explore the Annapurna region. I am also not a very experienced trekker but of general fitness. Annapurna Sanctuary would def. be an option for me. Lets get in touch?!
    Best, anne

  4. Hi all
I’d kind of like to trek with a guide in order to learn about the region. Not sure if a porter is needed as well though. I’ve been in touch with a local female guide whose rate is $25 per day – and it’d be great to get a group together for this!

  5. Hey All,

I’m an artist musician and a developer. I’m currently in Thamel Kathmandu and would really like to find some people to trek with.
Any trek which is around 12 days.

I’m a relatively new trekker but fit enough and have been in higher altitudes of himachal before. I’m travelling alone and in Nepal for 10-15 days. And have a Nepali number. 98133374777

If anyone is game please let me know! 🙂
