Rolwaling Valley & (optional) Ramdung summit

Hi all!

Dave from Australia. I’m heading for my 3rd time to Nepal – previously Manaslu Circuit and last year Dhaulagiri Trek (that’s me with my son last year in profile pic) – at the end of October.
Plan is the lesser visited Rolwaling Valley, Tashi Lapcha pass and Ramdung summit.

Something like this:

Day 1 KTM – Simigaon (6hr drive + 2hr trek)
Day 2: Simigaun – Dugang (2,800m.).
Day 3: Dugang – Beding Village (3693m.)
Day 4: Beding – Na Gaun (Village) (4,183m.)
Day 5: Na Gaun – Ramdung Base Camp (4,800m.)
Day 6 : Ramdung BC to High Camp
Day 7: Ascent Ramdung Peak (5,900m.) – Yalung Ri (5,630m.) summit – Glacier Camp
Day 8: Tsho Rolpa glacier camp – Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (4470m.)
Day 9: Tashi Lapcha BC – Tashi Lapcha Pass (5,793m.) Cave Camp.
Day 10: Tashi Lapcha Cave Camp – Thengpo Village (3,990m.).
Day 11: Thengpo – Namche Bazar (3,440m.)
Day 12: Namche Bazar – Lukla (2,800m.) then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 13: Lukla – Kathmandu by flight then transfers to Hotel.
Day 14 – rest/acclim/weather day
Day 15 – rest/acclim/weather day

If you’re not keen on the summit, that could be missed (although pass is almost as high!)

Quite a fast itinerary above so you’d need to be fit and prepared to tackle the altitude.

I have a sherpa and 2 porters lined up (who i have trekked with before)

If you’re keen let me know. Mix of camping and tea houses.

I am a 47yo Australian male who likes to do a big adventure every year if possible 👍
