Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp

I’m Binit, 28 years old, male, and I’m arriving in Kathmandu on 12 November 2013 – looking to do a trek in the Annapurna region. I have not really done any trekking before, but have reasonable fitness.

I would ideally like to find some one wanting to do an easy to moderate trek in the area and I have flexibility in dates too.

Look forward to hear from you!

  1. Hi,
my name is Hannes, 26 years old and I’m already in Kathmandu. I would like to do the Annapurna Base Camp trek, which is not easy but manageable for beginners (as far as I have heard). 8-9 days, preferably sooner than later. Write me an E-mail (hannes.albert1@gmx.de) if you are interested, I will answer on Monday as I will be spending the weekend in Gorkha.

    Namaste! Hannes

  2. Hey,

If you’re up for a Gorepani-Ghandruk Loop trek starting around November 10-14, let me know! I realize you’re landing in Kathmandu on the 12th so maybe that’s a little too soon for you. 🙂

I’m in Kathmandu now and am planning to get to Pokhara on the 9th in the evening. Starting sooner rather than later is ideal so my husband isn’t sitting around waiting too long (he was going to trek but now doesn’t feel up to it). This would be my first trek too but like you I consider myself of reasonable fitness, though I typically enjoy a slightly slower hiking pace than some people I know.

Let me know if you think our goals will align. 🙂

  3. I’m looking for a 8-10 day trek starting Nov. 10th from Pokhara as well — should be arriving in afternoon of the 9th. Flexible on plans, but am quite active and would like to keep a good pace. Anyone interested can email me at alison.welcher@gmail.com to chat further!

  4. hey Binit, have your plan firmed up? I am reaching on 15th Nov and looking for partners. I am keen on doing EBC but am flexible and can do ABC / Lantang. Like you, i have not done much trekking but have reasonable fitness. Let me know how is your trip looks like and we can take it from there.
