Poon hill

Am planning on doing the Poon hill circuit trek. Aiming to depart on the 7th or 8th of May and taking 6 days 5 nights to complete.
I am a solo traveller so was hoping to find someone to share the journey with. Would prefer an organised trek but if there is someone with significant experience interested then I am too!!

  1. HI Rebecca, I’m planning on trekking to Poon hill around May 25th. Let me know if your schedule changes a little. 🙂

  2. Hey Rebecca, I’m Matt from the US and your plans are lining up perfectly with mine. I arrive on May 6, hoping to start on May 7 or 8 for a week’s trek. I was planning on Langtang, but will definitely be open to the idea of Poonhill circuit as well. I haven’t been to Nepal before but I have hiked segments of the Appalachian trail in the US. Let me know if your plans are still the same and if you’re interested in hiking together!

  3. Hey Matt and Rebecca. I`m Alice from Czech republic and also travel solo so would love to find someone to trek with. Im already in Nepal and have time until 15th May. Either Poon hil or Langtang. Let me know if you are into trekking together.

  4. Hi guys,

I’m interested. Am in Kathmandu right now so can meet up if you are here. Let me know what you have decided.

    Best,
    Diala

  5. Hi everybody,

Poon Hill sounds like a great hike. Maybe if we are all able to pitch in for the price of the guide, (I won’t need a porter), it would make things more affordable for everyone. Rebecca, are you okay beginning the trek on May 7? How should I plan to meet you?

  6. Hi everybody,
Planning to trek Poon Hill, departing on May 9th. I am a solo traveller and It’s my first time in Nepal. I am not an experienced trekker but I am very fit. I have heard this trek it’s very easy, so we don’t need a guide but If you decide to take one, we can share his expenses.

  7. Hello everyone,

Just found your posting of this trek and was curious to know if you wanted an extra person on this trip. Its my second time in Nepal, havent done any major treks before but I have been to many different places here.
Are you guys meeting up anytime in the next couple of days to discuss plans?
You can reach me on here.

I am in Nepal for another two months so my schedule is very flexible with going on a trek 🙂

  8. Hi guys, sorry for the lack of contact I have been rafting over the last two days so was out of touch! So I have confirmed this trek starting in the 7th. I have booked a guide and porter. I will email them now to see if I can add a few people in. There will probably be a cost for transport to and from the trailhead/end if you do join. I am in Kathmandu tomorrow (5th May) then head to pokhara in the 6th. Happy to meet up with people to discuss plans. My Nepali phone number is 9803613327, feel free to txt/phone me.

  9. Hey guys the trekking company are more than happy for anyone to join. Email them by tomorrow to confirm. They will sort out transport and permits (if needed). The trekking agency is 3 Sisters Trekking.
