Pacific to Atlantic by canoe
Hello fellow adventurers!
My name is Forrest Propp. Im a 26 year old male born in Canada and raised in England.
In 2012 I returned to Canada choosing a town called Canmore in Alberta as my new home.
From that point on my dreams of adventuring grew from a single seed to a wide spread invasive species.
In 2019 I hiked 100 miles solo through 3 national parks, straddling 2 provinces on a route I designed myself hitting some of the most remote campsites in the parks and navigating for many kilometres off trail.
In 2020 I cycled 1200km between Vancouver Island and Canmore on a bike trip that saw huge climbs, all weather and even a broken shoulder. I raised $2500 for the charity organization Save The Children In the process
I have a great love for long trips and have discovered I enjoy raising funds for a cause in the meantime.
I am looking for a 4-6 person team for a canoe trip across Canada in 2021.
The idea is to paddle from Vancouver across the entire length of the country using historical routes traveled by fur traders 150-200 years ago.
It will be a grueling trip that will take approximately 6 months and will require a substantial amount of determination and grit!
There will be rain, snow and sweltering sun.
Long portages through remote terrain, big bugs and blisters but that’s all part of the fun!
I would like to document the trip and raise as much money for Save The Children in the process.
Please contact me if you are interested in taking on this mammoth journey with me
I look forward to connecting with you!
