Northern Canadian Rocky Mtns. (Muskwa-Kechika wilderness, BC)
Seeking expedition partner (third member) for 3 person expedition through Muskwa-Kechika wilderness area, to Chesterfield lake in Kwadacha wilderness area (S.W. of Fort Nelson, BC). This area is situated in the northern Rocky Mountain crest; the wildest, and most remote area in sub-arctic North America. The route is partly on horse trail, and partly cross-country travel, including some pioneering, excepting a four or five day approach. I can supply community equipment, maps, transportation, and logistical support, plus know the area somewhat. Share breakfasts, suppers, supplies and transportation costs on a budget. I plan a number of layover days throughout, to rest, and photograph these beautiful, untouched mountain areas on the crest of the northern Rockies – In a recently preserved 4.4 million hectare wilderness, the second largest such area in the world. I would prefer to leave around September 1st, 2016 (somewhat flexible), dependent upon logistics, and my partner’s arrival here (Calgary, AB) from Europe. You are: experienced, equipped, resolute, easy-going, and reasonably tough. Contact me re: further details & questions, etc.
Regards, Mikel Johnson.

Just curious, do you think that might be a little late in the season?
And are you still looking for anyone to join you? This is a canoe trip, right?
