Nepal

Hi,
I’m in Kathmandu now for the Annapurna trekking. My plan is travel to bhulbhule or jagat by jeep to save few days so that I don’t have to hurry in the later half. The final leg of Jomsom to Pokhara can be done by either flying out or by road.if things work out the way I’m planing, then on 28th I will take the bus to besisaher.I have to finish the trek before 10th.Any one has similar plans wants to join with me is most welcome. I won’t be taking any guide, but if really required then go for a Porter rather than a guide. I’m open to suggestions and change of plans.Lets a have a great trekking experience together

  1. Hi Viji,

I’ve been looking for people who would be interested in doing the ACT in early October. Initially found a group, but unfortunately the best time for me (flight & leave-wise) didn’t match up with the group’s proposed starting date.

My flight into Kathmandu is on 30th Sep 2016. Getting permits sorted out, bus etc, would mean that I will be getting a bus from Kathmandu to Besisahar on Oct 3rd (realized that permits couldn’t be sorted out on 1st as NTB is closed on Saturdays). Hoping to jeep it from Besisahar to Syange/Jagat (as far as safely possible) as I wish to see visit Tilicho lake. If the jeep is good until Chame, that’d be good too (I’ve just read on Tripadvisor that the section from Tal to Chame is pretty gnarly). From then I plan to go as far as Muktinath, then jeep it to Jomsom. I intend on flying from Jomsom to Pokhara, cutting out the dusty roads much as I can.

Do let me know if that works for you, full or half way.

    • Hi Zaimah,
Let’s see whether i can match your travelling dates.
As of now, my plan is to finish the trekking before Oct 10.
