I’m Alex from Chicago. 24

Looking for friends to share Everest Region experience with. My original partner ended up having to bail on the trip because she was offered her dream job. Oh well.
That means that I’m taking on the trek solo, and while I’m confident in my ability to do it, I know that it will be safer and more fun with others around.

I’ll be landing in Kathmandu on the 25th of September, most likeley looking to fly to Lukla the 27th. I can be slightly flexible with those days. I’m not looking to fly through the route, but I am looking to keep a steady pace. I’m a strong hiker with experience on St Helens, Rainier, and Colorado’s high mountains, but this will be my first time in the Himalaya. I’ve been dreaming of this trip for years, lets do it!
