I’m thinking of going to everest base camp with a helicopter return, a 10-day tour. I found this tour that looks great

The heli return is nice because it helps avoid the downhill which would be tough on the knees, and the aerial views from the heli are supposed to be nice. It also shaves a few days off the trek so I can see more of the rest of Nepal. The tour is cheaper with more than 1 person too.

I personally love hiking but don’t have much experience at high altitudes. My only experience was a 3-day trek in the Andes, up to 4200m, and I went super slowly, but I think I’ve got a feel for it now and will be training in advance of this trip.
