Langtang Valley Trek

Hi, I’m Ester,

I’m planning to do the Langtang Valley Trek between the 5th and the 14th of September.
It’s easy and I don’t think a Guide is necessary, but I’m looking for a partner because I don’t think it’s a good Idea to trek by my own.

I have mountain experience, I’m an architect, aged 26.

  1. Hi I am Renato, 30 yo geographer. I plan to do Langtang in september on a budget. Mostly camping out and cooking food, sometimes teahouses if weather is not good. If you are interested hit me up on tukacsr@gmail.com and I will give you my whatsapp. If you want to camp but no tent yet, mine is for 2 ppl. Cheers.

  2. Hello,
I have made very last minute plans to fly to Nepal. I arrive Mon 2nd sept and am staying with a Nepali friend for a few days first.

I am very keen to go trekking. However, most treks require two people, hence the note here.
I am very keen to have a guide. Not because I can’t cope without but as I think they’ll bring the trip alive and add an entirely new element and dimension.
It is also important to me as they are knowledgeable if anything were to go wrong. Highly unlikely I realise but nonetheless, a good contingency idea.

What are your thoughts? Thank you.

    Best,

    Dominic

  3. It seems my previous reply did not go through moderation for some reason so I try again.

  4. Hi Esther,
I am Sofia also from Spain and I plan to do the Langtang Valley + Gosaikunda trek starting from the 6th, in case you are still looking for company to trek it 🙂 I am keen on doing it with some people better than alone, but I prefer tea houses or guesthouses rather than camping. Thanks!
