Hey, I’m an affable and easygoing Brit in search of a trekking partner to share a guide and experiences with while in Nepal. I am on a teaching placement in Pokhara until the 22nd of Oct, afterwhich I plan to do the Three Passes trek (starting on the 24/25th). I’m flying to Lukla on 25 October and planning on doing Three Passes trek plus EBC and associated side trips and hiking peaks over 3-4 weeks or so, independently, with a fairly flexible itinerary. Having a trekking partner for the high passes in particular would be reassuring, and I would consider seeking a guide for one or other of the passes along the way if it seemed necessary for route-finding. Let me know if that might fit.
Hey James. London over here 🙂 I’m looking to start the 3 passes in the next few days but looking to share a porter as I have a really bad shoulder. I’ve heard we don’t need a guide around now as the trails are so busy. Let me know what you think.
