Nangi Village and Khopra rural trek (organized by 3 Sisters Adventure)

This is a scheduled trek organized by 3 Sisters Adventure. To date I am the only participant and I am looking for at least one more person to join me so that the trek can run as scheduled. Details can be found at: http://www.3sistersadventuretrek.com/trek/nepal_details/21. I know several people who have trekked with 3 Sisters and they highly recommend their organization. I hope you will consider joining me on this rural, off-the-beaten-path adventure! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Namaste,
Janet

  1. Hi Janet
That sounds like a really interesting trek! I’m looking to trek around about that time and would like to go off the beaten track. Do you know what the total cost is?
A bit of background – I’m 36. I’m from the UK and I’m very interested in sustainability and the great outdoors. I’m fairly fit and active though haven’t really done any high altitude trekking.
    All the best

Good to hear from you and of your interest in this trek. The cost through the 3 Sisters Adventure trekking organization is $995 and includes mostly everything, as noted in the cost section. I am very excited about the trek and hope you will join. To sign up and for more information, please email Nicky at 3sistersadventuretrek@gmail.com.

I am from the United States (Maryland) and am 59. I am in good shape and fit and want to soak up all that I can on this trek so I do not intent to speed through each day. I also have not done high altitude trekking. I would like to do the optional day hike to the sacred lake Khaire and will see how I do with the altitude up
to that point before making a decision.

Are you currently in Nepal? I just finished a month of yoga at a center in Pokhara and am now just hanging out doing touristy things until the trek March 29.

Let me know what you decide! Best,
    Janet

  3. Hi Janet
I’m back in Kathmandu for a couple of days (it feels so hectic after Chitwan and it’s raining like there’s no tomorrow!!) I’m here to meet a group who are going to Manaslu who I might join with – but it would be good to find out more about the 3 sisters trek too and then I can decide. which to join Please can you send me an itinerary? Also how strenuous is it and how high? Or shall we talk via skype – I can skype your mobile if you have one?
    All the best

  4. Verity:

I just emailed to your yahoo account the itinerary that 3 Sisters provided to me, and answered your other questions. Also I would be happy to Skype so just let me know when is good for you. I will email you the phone number soon.

    Thanks,
    –Janet
