Monsoon Annapurna

Looking for partners to do the Annapurna Circuit upper section, which is not to bad in monsoon time and not as expensive as Mustang. I want to do a 2 weeks trek between the 20th June and 8th of July, I didn´t have fixed dates jet. Some company who doesn´t mind a bit of rain would be great!

  1. Hey Eva,
I’m going to be in Nepal from the 19th of June and I’m looking to do the same thing but finishing on the 4th. I’m Australian, 19, haven’t trekked in Nepal before and I don’t mind the rain at all.
I’d be keen to join up with you if you’re interested 🙂

  2. Hi Ruble,
I will start the trek the 21-22th June. I have been looking some agencies but there are quite expensive so I´ll rather choose and independent guide: providing basic permits, displacement and stays in teahouses. No added luxuries. The trek is about 2 weeks time. You can join me and leave earlier the 4th July, that´s fine! Tell me if you are interested and keep in touch
    cheers!

  3. Hey Eva,
Starting on the 21st would be perfect for me 🙂
I’ve thought the same about the prices of big agency trekking tours, what sort of prices have you found for independent guides? I’ve looked at Nepal Holiday Planners who have guides for $16 a day and Nepal Trek Adventures and Expeditions seems quite reasonable.
Do you know what route you want to take?

  4. Hey guys,
Sorry to pop up into your discussion, I am not planning to join you (going to Langtang) but I wanted to tell you that you do not any guides at all for the anapurnas region! It’s pretty easy to stay on the path and to find accomodation especially in june

  5. hi guys,
i’ll be in nepal around the same time, sounds like a fun trek.
am keen to join, just need to ask what kind of problems do you reckon the monsoon could bring? ive never been to nepal during the monsoon, was wondering if you may have experienced it before. mike. =]

  6. Just exoect some showers in the afternoon most days. But once you get above 3000m the rain is much less. I just did Annapurna circuit and was a blast. You don’t need a guide it’s very well set up. If you have the stamina make the detour to tilicho lake, So nice!

  7. Hi Eva, if the plan of Annapurna trek is still on , i can join you from 20th June as i am from India .
We can plan and execute accordingly.

    Thanks

  8. Hi Eva, I’m planning the same trip for 2-3 weeks, landing in Kathmandu at around the June 20-22. Do you have any fixed plan now?

  9. Hi, if you guys need any trekking gear, I have poles, windstopper pants and a wind/water proof jacket for sale. It’s all in good condition and has only been used for 1 or 2 weeks trekking. I’m in Kathmandu now.

  10. Hey guys! My friend and I will be heading for the Annapurna Circuit on 18 June – 3 July. Would be cool to meet a couple of fellow trekkers along the way! Any tips for us first-time trekkers? :>
