Mardi Himal Trek

I am Tahmeed, a solo traveler from Bangladesh. Here’s a little bit about myself:
I am a content writing professional working full time in Dhaka, Bangladesh alongside pursuing a Masters Degree. Travelling, Hiking and exploring are my passion.
I have gone on many hikes in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) of Bangladesh (the mountains are not that high in altitude though) and went on a 4 day trek to Poon Hill in 2016.
I have been waiting for trekking in Nepal for years but Covid and other reasons held me back.

I finally found my opportunity! I am planning to trek the Mardi Himal Base Camp. Initially preferred ABC but Mardi Himal is so unique that I reconsidered! My schedule, however, is pretty hectic. I’ll arrive at Kathmandu on 11 October, travel overnight to Pokhara and start the trek on 12 October, finishing the trek on 18th and returning to Kathmandu and leaving for Dhaka on the 21st.

I am looking a travel partner to share the cost of a Porter Guide. I am friendly and open-minded. I can be both talkative if you want someone to have fun with while at the same time, I’ll respect your space if you want to spend private time. It’s all about sharing costs and having a companion on the way.

Here’s the itinerary (Might change depending on preferences and circumstances):

11 Oct: Arrival in Kathmandu
11 Oct: Overnight bus to Pokhara
12 Oct: Start trek immediately after reaching Pokhara. Trek to Pothana (1890m) from Phedi
13 Oct: Trek to Forest Camp (2500m)
14 Oct: Trek to High Camp (3635m)
15 Oct: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) and back to High Camp (3635m)
16 Oct: Trek to Siding Village (1700m)
17 Oct: Trek back to Pokhara

After the trek ends, I want to engage in some adventure sports at the Cliff, anyone is most welcome to join me.

PS: The itinerary is flexible and can be changed if agreed on.
