I’ll be arriving in Kathmandu March 1 and would like to start trekking on the 3rd. Start in Kathmandu and do the Manaslu/Tsum Valley trek over Larkya-la and be in Dharapani in about 15 days. From Dharapani make my way to the NarPhu area (Koto-Phu-Nar) and over Kangla to Ngawa in 7 days. From Ngawa rejoin the AC and over Thorung La and fly out of Jomsom in 6 days. Grand total of 30 days.
Most people might consider this itinerary a bit crazy but I think it’s challenging and very doable (acclimatization gods willing!).

I’m looking for a fit partner with extensive experience on long treks at altitude and happy to put in long, hard trekking days. I would like to keep costs down to a minimum so looking to share a guide and of course fulfill the two trekker rule. Three restricted area permits (Manaslu/Tsum/NarPhu $50/$25/$75 respectively) are needed along with the ACAP/MCAP/TIMS cards.

If you would like to join me on this challenging trek or a part of it, give me a shout. If you want a more detailed itinerary please ask.
