Manaslu November 2013


I plan to trek around the Manaslu as of the 19th of November and I’m looking for 1 or 2 partner(s) to share the adventure (and the costs !)
I’m in touch with a local agency (recommended by a friend of mine) which proposes a 13-day-hiking tour.
Here is the itinerary :
D1: Kathmandu – Arughat (610m) 8H by local bus
D2: Arughat (600m) – Khorsanibari (730m) 6-7H
D3: Khorsanibari – Khorlebenshi (970m) 6H
D4: Khorlebenshi – Jagat (1340m) 6H
D5: Jagat – Deng (1860m) 6 – 7H
D6: Deng – Ghap (2400m) 6H
D7: Ghap – Loh (3180m) 6-7H
D8: Loh – Sama Gaon (3530m) 4-5H
D9: Sama gaon (acclimatation day)
D10: Samagaon – Samdo (3875m) 5H
D11 : Samdo – Camp Basse (Dharmasala (4460m) 4 -5H
D12 : Camp Basse – le col de Larkya (5160m) – Bimthang (3590m) 8H
D13 : Bimthang – Dharapani (1860m) 7H
D14 : Dharapani – Syange (1100m) 7H
D15 : Syange – Beshisahar (4×4) then to Kathmandu by local bus

    The costs would be 775 euros (ca. 1 000 US$) per person.

  3. Seems a little expensive. I’m looking for a trip where the guide is about $25/day and individuals pay for porters individually. I’ve heard that these are pretty manageable expectations – let me know if you’d be interested in considering something a bit cheaper!
