Manaslu Circuit Trek

I’m planning to travel the Manaslu Circuit Trek starting in the second week of March. Annapurna Circuit Trek is also an option, but I’d rather go for the less crowded Manaslu. Dates are not fixed: I’m traveling to Kathmandu overland from Varanasi. I will arive in Kathmandu at the 10th of March, but I haven’t booked a flight out yet.
I only have a light backpack and don’t want to take camping gear so I’d prefer to stay in teahouses. It appears that guides on this route are mandatory but given that so far I only have experiences with such treks in the Alps. Hence I don’t mind a bit of extra knowledge about the terrain and weather conditions on the way.

About me: I’m 31,m, physicist from Germany. For 2016 I took a sabbatical and right now I’m travelling through India. I’d be glad if I find some partners or a small group for the trek on such a short notice.

As of now I have a confirmed trekking partner – Sam, 28, m, computer scientist and traveller from NYC I’ve just met in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

    Hey Malte,
    I am also planning on doing the Manaslu Trek but I’ll arrive in Kathmandu on March 20. I reckon you’ll already be on your way by then.
    If not let me know if doing it together would be an option for you.

    I ll be in KTD from march 8th to april 5th and i d like to do the Manaslu Circuit. I did the Mustang 3 years ago and i loved it! Would be amazing to join you!

    I am arriving in Katmandu on the 14th of March and leaving on the 1st of April.
