Manaslu Circuit Trek

Hi,
I would like to do Manaslu Circuit sometime from mid April to mid May – my dates are not yet fixed, preferably in a small group 2-3 people.
I have been to Nepal before – Langtang trek, I am comfortable with basic condidtions.
I am no fast hiker, I prefer slow and steady pace.
Looking forward to hear from someone.
Katarina

  1. Hi. I am landing Kathmandu 14 April 2019 and if possible, we can do the trek together? I have around 13 days not sure if it is enough. Thanks

  2. Hello, I’m interested in doing Manaslu circuit and Tsum valley. Flexible about dates as long as it’s finished by mid May. I’ve done quite a few independent treks in Nepal and would like to do this trek in a similar way, sharing costs for the required guide. Trek at a moderate pace with many photo stops. I have some highly recommended contacts for guides or porters.

  3. Hi. I am keen to do the Manaslu Circuit @end of April to early May. I have not booked flights yet but will be no earlier than 22nd April. I will be needing to share the permit and guide. I have some contacts in Nepal and should be able to organise the guide at a reasonable price.

  4. Hi guys, I’m also looking to do Manaslu circuit in May. I can only leave Sydney any dates after 24th April, from then I’m flexible with start dates and duration of trek. I’ve done multi night treks in Patagonia, New Zealand and here in Australia. Like many of you I like to take my time and not treat the trek as a race. My research so far has been confusing so open to tag on to any trips you’ve arranged with a reputable guide. Cheers

  5. Hi all,

I’ll be arriving in Kathmandu on 29th April. I’m keen to head out on the Mansalu trek within a week of arrival

I have sporadic experience of hiking and walking (no technical climbing, anything that impressive), including Scottish Highlands, Karakorams, and Andes

I’d certainly be up for some company, and join a like-minded small group, along with hiring a guide.

As always walking in groups, it’s nice to chat and have some company. It’s also nice to enjoy your own space, thoughts and reflections.

    Hopefully this may work out
    Cheers

  6. Hi all,

My name is Chhiring Sherpa founder/trip planner from Himalaya-Discovery.com. I’m looking for a trekking partner in order to join /share permits for my solo female client from Switzerland. Arrives in Kathmandu on the 10th of May 2019 for Manaslu Circuit Trek. Please let me know if you are interested to join this trip / share permits.

She is an experienced trekker, and she has done few treks in Nepal (Everest region, Annapurna region) now she is planning to do Manaslu Circuit Trek in May. (The Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the restricted trekking routes in Nepal, and the minimum 2 persons are required to get the permits ).

    Happy Trekking
    Chhiring Sherpa

  7. Hey. 🙂 I’m arriving in Kathmandu end of April. I’m flexible and don’t have a flight yet. I would love to trek Manaslu with some other trekking partners aswell. I’ve done Annapurna Circuit last year and would like to do a less crowded trek this time. 🙂 text me if you have any similar plans already! 🙂

  8. I arrive Kathmandu on 20 April. Katarina, if you can wait a day or two while I get all my permits organised, I can join you. I have until 11 May, when I have to be back in Kathmandu. Prefer guide only and otherwise independent, staying in tea houses. Been to Nepal 3 times previously; lots of trekking experience. Pace is not a concern,

  9. Hey Katarina
Did you fix your trip and still looking for someone to join? I am alreadybin Nepal and would like to do the trek 🙂
    Best regards

  10. Hello everyone, I am also looking for hiking partners to do the trek with. Looking to leave around 20th of April.

  11. Hi Katerina and all

I’m completing a short trek in Annapurna region around the 20th and am keen to begin another within the next week.
Happy to trek in a small group and share guide costs if needed.
    Pete.
Do you have any development with your itinery?

    • Hey Peter, Do you want to meet up in Kathmandu on 20 April and organise the Manaslu trek together? I’m all for guide-only and small group of 2-3 trekkers.

  12. I have finally booked my flights and will be arriving on 30th April. I plan to do the Manaslu Circuit in @1–12 days leaving on 2nd May. I will be alone but have arranged a porter and another ‘ghost’ permit. I have arranged a jeep from KTM to Soti Khola or higher.
If anybody is keen to join me and share costs just let me know.
BTW- I have trekked extensively through Khumbu, Annapurna, Langtang and Ladakh but had knee surgery last year and this will be my first trip back since.
I will be staying at KTM Guesthouse 30th and 1st.
