Manaslu Circuit Trek
Hello!
I’d love to do a 16-day trek around Manaslu this autumn, but I’m still looking for at least one trekking partner (or a group) to travel together! I saw some people already posted on here, but unfortunately I’m not flexible on dates: I would like to travel between Friday November 16th arriving back in Kathmandu on Saturday December 1st.
I’ve got some trekking experience and I’m reasonably fit. In Nepal, I’ve hiked along the Annapurna Circuit at about the same level of fitness, which went very well. It was a fantastic experience. Now, I’d love to hike Manaslu circuit, especially since it is a bit more rugged and quiet.
Budget-wise I’ve got an upper limit so I filled out ‘average’, but if you’d like to travel cheaply that suits me too. Regarding accommodation I’m flexible – I’d love to experience the local culture through homestays, but during my previous trek in Nepal I stayed in tea houses which were lovely. I’m not sure whether I would like to hire a porter yet – last time I didn’t but this track is probably a bit more streneous.
If might be interested in travelling together, please reply to contact me!
It would be great if we can work something out.

Hello Renee, you are aware of the fact that you need a guide on this trek? Can’t do it without. Beside that permits are required and are costly.
Have a nice trek.
Hi Harry,
Thank you for your kind reminder. Yes I do know. One of the reasons I am looking for a trekking partner is that it is impossible (or at least not allowed and very expensive) to hire a guide and acquire permits for just one person. Other than that, it would be great to have a travel companion!
Cheers,
Renee
Hi Renee,
Nice to meet you!! I have the same idea of my Nepal trip. I would like to do the trekking by myself but would like to include a summit climb experience and hire a guide for that. In fact I am arriving 15th of Nov in KTM and flying out on 1st of Dec. I am Austrian and currently living in the Netherlands:)
Still I haven’t booked anything and very flexible. I love sports and can’t wait for an amazing adventure. Let me know and happy to connect. Best, Katrin
Hello Katrin,
First let me see if this message ends up on the main message board…
Hi, my name is Yaron from Israel. I’m planning to do the Manaslu trek starting Saturday Nov 17. Would you like to share the trekking permit for the restricted area? (It requires two people)
Hi Renee, Have you arranged your guide trek yet?
I would like to do Manaslu and Tsum Valley – I believe approx 16/17 days. I am flexible on time! I fairly fit and have trekked other regions of Nepal before.
I am looking for a trekking partner/ small group and share guide cost.
I can also make enquiries to find a guide and get permits?
I am currently in KTM and can start asap/ 15th Nov.

Let me know. Thank you!
