Looking for trekking partners and a guide for Manaslu in November I don’t have set dates some time in the beginning of November. Happy to work around other peoples schedules if needed.

DAY 1 Kathmandu → Soti Khola (via Arughat) 6-9 hours (by bus/ jeep)
DAY 2 Soti Khola (700m) → Machhakhola (869m) 14 km / 5 hours
DAY 3 Machhakhola (869m) → Jagat (1340m) 16 km / 7 hours
DAY 4 Jagat (1340m) → Dyang (1860m) 19 km / 7 hours
DAY 5 Dyang (1860m) → Namrung (2630m) 17 km / 7 hours
DAY 6 Namrung (2630m) → Lho (3180m) 10 km / 4 hours
DAY 7 Lho (3180m) → Samagaun (3520m) 8 km / 4 hours
DAY 8 Acclimatisation hike to Pungen Gompa (4050m) or Manaslu Base Camp (4400m)
DAY 9 Samagaun (3520m) → Samdo (3690m) 8 km / 3 hours
DAY 10* Samdo (3690m) → Dharamsala/Larke Phedi (4460m) 6 km / 4 hours
DAY 11 Dharamsala/Larke Phedi (4460m) → Larke Pass (5106m) → Bimthang (3720m) 16 km / 10 hours
DAY 12 Bimthang (3720m) → Tilche (2260m) 18 km / 7 hours
DAY 13 Tilche (2260m) → Dharapani (1980m) 5 km / 2 hours
DAY 14
Dharapani → Kathmandu (via Besisahar) 10 hours (by jeep/bus)

  1. We 4 people are going to start the Mansalu circuit trek from october 9 2022,starting from Katmandu to Machhikhola with our guide, if possible you can join our group or our guide.

    That could work quite well for me, Im talking with another guide about including the Nar Phu trek as well although. I think we would split off on day 12 at Bimthang. I haven’t booked flights yet i will look in to the logistics and get back to you.

    I am flexible as i will be in nepal for probably 3 months from sept 20. Only thing is i tend to walk fairly fast which is fine as long as the guide and everyone is happy for me to go ahead.
    Other than that im a 39 yr old guy from tassie on my fourth trip to nepal. Easy going guy who likes a laugh and can get along with just about anyone.

    I will be leaving Kathmandu with another on the 11th of November starting the Nar Phu Manaslu trek. with the following Itinerary.

    Day 1: Soti Khola to Maccha Khola 869m [3,181 feet] 6 hours trekking
    Day 2: Machha Khola to Jagat 1340m [4,438feet] 6 hours trekking
    Day 3: Jagat to Deng 1700m [6101 feet] 6 hours trekking
    Day 4: Deng to Ghap 2000m [7085 feet] 6 hours trekking
    Day 5: Ghap to Lho 3180m [10,171 feet] 4 hours trekking
    Day 6: Lho to Samagaon 3520m [11,483 feet] 2 hours trekking
    Day 7: Acclimatization day in Sama (Here, you may explore Pungen Gumba for 5 hours or Manaslu Base camp for 6 hours hiking)
    Day 8: Samagaon to Samdo 3850m [12,467 feet] 4 hours trekking
    Day 9: Samdo to Dharmasala 4460m [14,633 feet] 4 hours trekking (limited available lodges)
    Day 10: Dharamsala to Bhimtang 3590m [11775 feet](Need to wake up early for Crossing Larkya 5160m pass and descend reach Bimtang) [12,139 feet]; 10 hours trekking
    Day 12: Bimtang to Tilje 2300m [7,290 feet] 6 hours trekking
    Day 13: Tilje to Koto (2,610m/8,563ft): 5-6 hours
    Day 14: Koto to Meta (3,560m/11,680ft): 7-8 hours
    Day 15: Meta to Phu Gaon (4,250m/13,944ft): 7-8 hours
    Day 16: Acclimatization at Phu Gain
    Day 17: Phu Gaon to Nar (4,110m/13,484ft): 6-7 hours
    Day 18: Nar to Kang La Pass (5,322m/17,460ft) to Ngwal (3,660m/12,008ft): 7-8 hours
    Day 19: Nawal to Chame (3,540m/11,614ft): 4-5 hours
    Day 20: Chame to Besisahar by Jeep 6 hours
    Day 21: Besisahar to Kathmandu 6 hours

  8. Hi Jason from another Jason, I’m leaving KTM on the 11th November with my long term Nepalese friend who is a registered trekking guide to start the Manaslu Circuit. If you are still planning to do this then let me know we might be able to hook up? Cheers, Jason
