Langtang And More
Hi,
My name is Thomas and I am currently working in Kathmandu. I am going to have some vacations (a week to 10 days) starting the 10th of october. I plan to trek in the Langtang valley (less touristic) and maybe Helambu. I don’t plan to hire neither guide nor porter. I speak a little bit Nepali.

Franciene: definitely, if you plan to leave on the same dates! What do you have in mind? I won’t have time for Tamang Heritage because I plan to go to Gosaikund after Langtang Valley. We can meet in Thamel to talk about the details if you want.

I’ve been around dozens of trekking agencies in Thamel and none have groups you can join, so you’d have to hire your own guide, which I’m not interested in…
I’m currently in KTM doing volunteerwork, but have holiday from the 9th-22nd of october 🙂

We re leaving on the 9th at 6am, by jeep/van/microbus (dunno yet). The price is around 110-150 dollars for the bus and we re already 5 (not hiking all together though). If you re still interested we can meet tomorrow.
