Langtang and Helambu
Hi Guys,
I’m thinking of doing a 15-16 day trip in the Langtang, checking out Gosainkund Lake, and then walking out through the Helambu Valley to Melamchi Pul Bazaar or similar.
I haven’t been to Nepal before, so I would probably use a guide/porter. I have a good level of fitness and tend to walk at a medium pace. I love getting to know people, but also like to take time out and walk along by myself and enjoy the mountain scenery.
If anyone is keen to do this route and share costs in late November, I’d love to hear from you! I’m really flexible with dates.
Anna 🙂

Hi Anna!
I am interested in joining you on your trek! I am flying into Kathmandu on the 22nd November and would like to start trekking with in a few days of arriving but I am also flexible. I’m not super fit but I think I am fit enough to do a multiday hike!
How much are you looking at spending total on the trek?
Let me know what you think?!
Cheers
Karina

Hey Anna,
Ok cool, there is still a little bit of time to decide. Can I ask where in Australia are you?
Hi Karina
I live at Coffs Harbour on the east coast of Australia. The guide my friend has recommended is not available until the 1 December, so I’m thinking of changing my trip dates so that I can use him.
Not sure if this would still potentially work for you?
Anna 🙂
Hey Anna,
I actually live on the Gold Coast. Was just wondering if you want to possible text or chat on the phone as it might be easier to suss out plans! I leave to Singapore on Friday and will be in Nepal on the 22nd. I don’t have to go trekking straight after I arrive so I am flexible.
Let me know what you think!
Karina
Hi Karina,
Are you on facebook? Want to find me there (https://www.facebook.com/anna.scott.9465), as I hardly check this site…
Talk soon
Anna
Hey the link doesn’t work. And not sure which one you are when I searched your name! If you want to look up me, my name is Karina Foulds and there is only one of me!
Hi girls,
I’m also comsidering doing the langtang trek. Am already in kathmandu. Looking for some trekking partners as well. Did annapurna base camp before (partly) 5 years ago. More recently I did a multiday trek in Italian alpes. Normal pace, I think ;). Are you still searching for extra partners and when are you about to leave? Might want to do a slightly shorter trip, but see that you have lama hotel also included in the middel part, close to syabru besi. Cheers, Danielle
