Ladakh
I am planning to travel from Leh to Lamayuru and then to Hinju (3750m) by car then trekking to Chilling, crossing the Zanskar river and then trekking the Markha valley to Hemis, returning to Leh by car. We will cross several high passes the highest being Kongmaru at 5100m. I will be slowing down through villages and areas of scenic value to indulge in my passion for photography. I can forward a detailed itinerary if any one is interested in joining me. This trek has been described as Ladakh’s most popular trek, but at this time of the year it should not be crowded with fellow trekkers. The starting date proposed is 14 Sept this can be moved forward three to five days only.

Hello Alan, a friend of mine and me will do the Zanskar traverse from Lamayuru to Darcha on an alternative trail that avoids the new roads. We plan to leave around sept 7. Intetested in joining us?
