Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek
I plan to do Kanchenjunga circuit trek in the last week of October 2022 (date open but after 25.10.2022) covering north and south base camps. Would be great to have company. I plan to spend a day at each base camp or a second day in case the view do not clear or foggy. I shall not take porter, guide is optional (only if required by rules). Plan is to hit the trail directly from east entry and not from Kathmandu. Do let me know if anybody is interested to join or form a group? Since I am synonym with mountains, culture and living at average high altitude, I look forward not just to cover the distance in shortest time but also to socialize and get to know the local tradition and culture.

I had thought about doing the Great Himalayan Trail from Kanchenjunga to Everest through Makalu Baruntse this October onwards but I think I may not have time away from work.
Your dates and your itinerary look to be a good option for me, so I think I would be interested.
I’m 47, from the UK and have done a fair amount of trekking at high altitude. I love the outdoors, the Nepali people and the majesty of the mountains. I would hope I am good company on a walk

Hi John. Wonderful hearing from you. I am gathering all the info I need from the ground since I have synonym advantage being from the neighboring Himalayan range. I have met a friend who came down from solukhumbhu to eastern nepal following the Arun valley, this is the same trail you are mentioning above. It seems the trekkers are receding in these trails and perhaps the pro economic dependency too which if true makes it a bit challenging without a good plan. I have on my list 3 pass trek following the traditional route or Hillary trail from Jiri itself instead of flying to Lukla. I have been to everest base 2014 and once is not enough. Keep in touch.
