I’m looking to do one of the Kanchenjunga circuits around September – October 2018 for around 21/25 days. I’m pretty flexible on what circuit to do as they all look amazing!

As you know permits can only be given out to a minimum of two people so looking for people to trek with.

I’ve looked at a few trekking companies online and the price has been around the $2.5K USD mark. Also flexible into look at hiring a private guide etc but currently I’ve just been looking at trekking companies due to the ease. My dates are pretty flexible as I’m looking to be in Nepal from early September till end of October.

Super keen to do this trek so please message me if you are keen and we can organise something!

  1. Hi Marion,
I have always wanted to do Kanchenjunga Circuit trek, so I’m pretty keen on doing this trek. I’m a Nepalese citizen but I lived in the US for many years, so I have great fluency in English. I also just got a professional trekking guide license from Nepal. Will let you know on how my plans will come along. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

  2. Hello Marion,
I’m currently in Kathmandu, planning my next trip: the great Himalayan trail, from east to west. I would like to start around the 22sept in Kachenjunga and i’m looking for a tramping partner to share this adventure with 🙂
I’m looking forward to hear about you,

  3. Hey Marion,
I’m also looking at doing a trek in September. I’m a solo traveller so I’m looking for someone or a group to do this with. I’m really keen to do the Kanchenjunga circuit. If you’re still looking for trekking partners let me know.

  4. Hi Marion, Kathryn, Sylvie,

I’m planning on starting my GHT traverse from Kanchenjunga region sometime in October (flexible with dates but ideally would prefer to start earlier if possible).
My ideal plan would be to share a climbing guide (carry my own gear) and essentially trek (teahouse & camping) up past Kanchenjunga BC to Jhinsang La (can then have one foot in India and one in Nepal) then take the GHT High route through to Chhukhung (Everest area) via the Sherpani Col/Amphu Labsta Pass.
Not sure if any of that would be of interest to you but there may be parts of the Kanchenjunga trail that overlaps your plan.

PS: In May I did the Everest Three Passes
