Island Peak
My wife and I will be doing the 3 passes trek in April 2018. On the way I would like to climb Island Peak (just me, OH will wait in/around Chukkung).
The initial plan is as follows:
– April 10th or 11th – arrive at Chukkung
– April 12th – go to Island Peak base camp
– April 13th – climb Island Peak, return to Chukkung
I am looking for partner(s) for 2 days (12th and 13th) to share the guide and permit costs.
Also I haven’t decided on guide yet (just sent out inquiries) so I am open to offers here as well (just IP climb, no full trek offers please!)

Have you progress already to find a guide for I.P ascent, and are your date a little flexible?
I have plan myself a solo 3 pass trek but I will start only on 8th of april from Bandar and plan to be aroud Namche on 12th april.
Initialy I expecte doing the treck clokwise, but that will let me be around chukung only by 21/22 of april. So I should consider going counter clokwise to ger earlier in april around , but with a proper altitude aclimatation that means at least around 15/16…
Let me know if you think we can going forward on these project.
Hi Francois! I have eclverything arranged and booked now, so no more flexibility I’m afraid. Should be climbing IP on 12th/13th, or perhaps even 11th/12th if everything goes well on the approach. Guess you should post your own trip plan here to find others for your climb dates?
