Fast Annapurna Tour Tilicho/Mesokanto La pass
Hi there,
As i already did before (2013 for Mustang, 2014 for Naar-Phu/Tilicho trek), i’m looking for few partners to walk with me during my “fast Annapurna trek” project.
Here is the plan :
Day 1 : transfer from KTM to Besi Sahar (private car) + jeep to Chame (if possible, it wil depend of landslides/weather conditions).
Day 2 : Chame to Upper Pisang (~3h) + acclimatization walk to Pisang peak BC/point of view (RT, ~4h, max.~4500m).
Day 3 : Upper Pisang to Ngawal (~3h) + acclimatization walk toward the Kang La pass (RT, ~4h, as high as possible).
Day 4 : Ngawal to Khangsar (~4h) + possible day trip around Manang at mid-day.
Day 5 : Khangsar to Tilicho BC ( ~2~3h) + sidetrip around.
Day 6 : Tilicho BC to Tilicho lake + acclimatization walk to Eastern pass (~5200m)
Day 7 : Tilicho BC to Jomsom (Pay attention !! Very very long walk ~12~13h to cross the Mesokanto La pass, endurance, strength and good mental needed !)
Day 8 : security day (if all is OK, possible to visit Muktinath and Guy La pass)
Day 9 : security day (same than day 8, visit around Kagbeni)
Day 10 : flight from Jomsom to Pokhara
Day 11 : flight from Pokhara to KTM (or by bus if you prefer)
The trek is quite simple but the Mesokanto La crossing in only 1 day could be really difficult ! (i did it with a full team in 2014, we had to camp near Tilicho lake and after the pass, 3 days).
If you’re interested in my plan, feel free to drop me a line.
If you need more informations (about prices, anything else), feel free to ask me directly.
Thank you. 😉
Pierre-Yves.

My name is Maria, I am from Russia, 21 y.o. I’ve just graduated MSU and gone off to travel for a bit before I move to the USA for work. I love sport (especially rock climbing and yoga, if you can call it sport), languages, art and travelling. I did both long and short hikes, mostly in Russia and Indonesia. I will arrive to Nepal on 19 of August to volunteer near Besi Sahar before joining your tour. I am also pretty excited to be part of your project!
Sincerely,
Maria

Hi everyone,

Hey Pierre!
How are you doing? I’m Xavi from Barcelona. i’m a backpack solo traveller and I will arrive to KTM around the 5-7 of September. Im thinking about joining you in the trek but I don’t know if i will be there soon enough. Are the dates of the trek strictly fixed?
Thanks!
Hey Jade,
I am from originally from Pokhara but will be in Kathmandu on 3rd September. I do not have prior experience in trekking except I went trekking up to Chomrong (on route to ABC). Let me know if there still spots available and I can join. There might be some pros to have someone from Nepal.
