Nepal’s beauty is sure to capture your heart as your trek through some of the most remarkable landscapes in the world. Everest Base Camp has many diverse geographical landscapes, nature, flora, fauna and climates. The snow capped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier are unforgettable and the view of Mount Everest from the summit of Kala Patthar (5545m) is sure to take your breath away. Although it is possible to trek in this region at any time of the year, we recommend that you depart from the beginning of March to mid-May or from the beginning of Septermber to mid-November to ensure for optimal conditions. The winters in the Khumbu region can be quite cold and snowy making it challenging to trek higher than the Tengboche area and the clouds and rain during monsoon season often cover the peaks. During April and early May, you will be able to see the hedgerows and blooming rhododendrons creating a colorful landscape.
