Everest Base Camp Trek
Newbie here. I’m planning to trek EBC independently. I’m not really a mountaineer, but have done few treks in Southeast Asia. Want to take a moderate pace (10-14days) so we can capture pictures, chat with locals, and learn culture.

Hey Ed, sounds like we are about on the same page! I haven’t quite decided against hiring a guide, but I keep reading about people doing without, and I am on a pretty tight budget. Are you open to extending to Gokyo lake after EBC?

Hi everyone. I’m interested in doing ebc on this date too. I have been recommended by a friend who has just been to Nepal to use ram mountain adventures if you don’t want to completely wing it up there. They charge $1050 pp which includes the guide,
Accomodation, 3 meals a day, flights in and out of lukla, down jacket and sleeping bag, all permits etc. if anyone is interested in joining me on that would be great because I’m also a newbie. If a group was big enough I would also do it independently.
