Everest Base Camp Trek

Newbie here. I’m planning to trek EBC independently. I’m not really a mountaineer, but have done few treks in Southeast Asia. Want to take a moderate pace (10-14days) so we can capture pictures, chat with locals, and learn culture.

  1. Hey Ed, sounds like we are about on the same page! I haven’t quite decided against hiring a guide, but I keep reading about people doing without, and I am on a pretty tight budget. Are you open to extending to Gokyo lake after EBC?

  2. Hey Ed. If you are starting on the 15th I would like to join you. I need people to share the cost of the guide. When do you depart from Nepal?

  3. Hi ALL

Greetings. 🙂 . I am from India and have planned EBC trek from 1st May to 11th May . Interested in like minded people who are into photography. Let me know if anyone is interest to be companion for the said dates.
    positive vibes. 🙂
    Thanks

  4. Hi Ed, your dates are quite good for me. Are your plans finalized?

  5. Hi everyone. I’m interested in doing ebc on this date too. I have been recommended by a friend who has just been to Nepal to use ram mountain adventures if you don’t want to completely wing it up there. They charge $1050 pp which includes the guide,
Accomodation, 3 meals a day, flights in and out of lukla, down jacket and sleeping bag, all permits etc. if anyone is interested in joining me on that would be great because I’m also a newbie. If a group was big enough I would also do it independently.

  6. Hi all, have you finalized? If I can join, please let me know. thanks
