Everest base camp trek

Helloo!! I am cristina from Ecuador ( South America) Atm I am in Nepal, I will start my treking from lukla on February the 5th. I am looking for having a great time, enjoying the views, taking breaks. And it will be great if someone want to join! Once together we can decide where do we want to stay over the night, what to eat, etc. it will be cool if we try to keep the prices as low as possible!

I am really excited about this treking and it will be even better with some friends. Let me know what do you think and feel free to come!

  1. Hola! Such a pity you’re departing so soon, I’ll be there by 24th February. Good luck with the trek, hope you don’t freeze at nights!

    • Holaa Pablo!! Yeah it’s a pity! Thank you for your reply and for your wishes! I will make sure to bring enough warm outfit ! Enjoy your trip

  2. Hi Cristina, are your dates flexible as I am hoping to do the trek too but only arrive in Kathmandu on the 5th?

    • Hello Rachel! Thank you so much for your reply,! the problem is that I already got the ticket to lukla for the 5th. I think that just in the case of bad weather they will let me change it. But when are you planning to come? If you come on the 6th I am sure we will meet in some point ! Or if they change my flight due to the weather this will be for the next day ( the 6th). Let’s keep in touch and let me know your dates 🙂

    • Hi Rachel, are you set on Everest Base Camp trek? Because I want to start Annapurna Circuit Trek on 6-8/2. Perhaps you would be interested in joining?

  3. Hi Christina! I’m from Netherlands and arrived today in Kathmandu. I could start the trek earlier because I’m ready and excited to go! Taking breaks I want to do during the trek, not so much here in Kathmandu 😉 hit me a reply about your plans!

    • Sweeeet!! Helloo Timo, thank you for your reply! I am so excited too and more if you can come!! The plan is to leave on the 5th and walk. from lukla walk to phakding, on the 6th phakding to Namche Bazar, 7th rest one day to help the body get use to it in Namche Bazar, 8th Namche bazar-tangboche, 9th tangboche to dingbuche, 10th Rest in dingbuche, 11th dingbuche to lobuche, 12th lobuche to ghorekshep and EBC and back to lobuche. 13th go to Kala patthat and head back to lukla! I know that it takes 3 days to go back but I leave one day just in case to have more flexibility ! Let me know what do you think! If you want we can change and adapt these ideas to your ideas !

  4. Christina! Sorry but I changed my plans! I’ll take a bus on Wednesday to Jiri and start my trek to EBC from there on Thursday with a guy I met in my hostel. In this case I don’t need a flight (yet). Maybe I’ll see ya on the trek somewhere 😉 and I’m sure you will find people in lukla! Hit me a message on Facebook if you want when you start from lukla (Timo van Ek, Rotterdam)
