Everest Base Camp Trek

I am Laura, 34, current resident of Colorado (USA) but raised and born in Spain. I had been in USA for 8 years now. I am looking for a hiking friend out there with similar adventure plans. It is always safer to have a partner in the mountains. 10 days of hike, I have the route with me if you want to talk further. No porters or guides but I have accident insurance.

KTM – Lukla – Phakding -Namche – Tengboche – Phereche – Lobuche – Kalapatar – Lobuche – Tengboche – Namche – Lucke – KTM

  1. Hi Laura, please post your route map and experiences after you are done. I am planning in may month.

  2. Hi Laura, I’m in KTM right now to start trek but via jiri to reach Namche by 27th Jan. I’m doing this independently without guide and porter. I’m plan to keep Gokyo lake in itinerary. Pls share your plan. Cheers!

  3. Hi Laura, im 24 from wales im just travelling and come to nepal to do ebc trek i planned on going alone but iv’e been told its better to go with a partner this time of year your itenary is the same as mine exept im flying to lukla tommorow, if you wanna meet up let me know, you can add me on fb or insta to if you like 🙂

  4. Highly recommend going to Dingboche instead of Pheriche after Tengboche. Pheriche gets some really harsh cold winds since it’s in a valley. Dingboche is only about a 2-3 hour hike from Tengboche and sits at the base of a small mountain that is excellent to climb for altitude acclimatization. Also if you do this small hike (which only takes 1-2 hours round trip) you are treated to jaw dropping panoramic views of Ama Dablam and the surrounding areas.

  5. in your same date we have joining group thous from taiwan so if you want to join with them let me know
