Everest Base Camp Trek + Island Peak

I am an easy going solo traveler from Denmark who’s planning to do the EBC trek from Lukla in April 21. My plan is to climb the Island Peak also during last part of the trek. This climb with ice axes and crampons should be fun and exciting but also doable for beginners like me.

I am looking for anyone who would be interested in joining me for the trek or parts of the trek. I plan on doing the trekking part without a guide.

- Cool, the plan is to fly out on the 21st and do EBC with proper acclimatization and then hit Chukung/Island Peak on from May 1st if you are up for it. I have the climb planned with a local company meeting me in Chukung. The rate is 800 USD for one person including everything except climbing boots/sleeping. The price can be lowered if we are more. Let me know what your plans are.

I guess you would have gone ahead with your plans by now. Just in case an fyi – I’ll be landing in KTM on the 22nd and will be open join you guys if you’ve not started yet
