Everest Base Camp Trek
Hello everybody,
My name ist Lukas, I am a 23 Years old army officer from Germany studying political and social science at the moment.
In August 2017 I am gonna support a volunteer organization in Nepal for 4 weeks. After this volunteering I am planning to do to classic Everest Base Camp Trek. I am looking forward for some travel companions (maximum of 4) to reduce the risks of traveling alone and of course to meet new friends.
Route and time is flexible and can be discussed (for example might be possible to also visit Gokyo or try Island Peak)
Why EBC Trek at this time: I choosed the classical EBC trek, because I read a lot about it, saw many videos and in general got really impressed about all the facets the trip provides. Mostly a want to get a personal touch of all this beatiful and popular mountains like Nuptse, Pumori, Lohtse, Ama Dablam and of course the mighty Everest intself. General infrastructure on the trek improved a lot during last decades so I am shure there might be no comfort issues. September marks the end of the rain period. While there safe might safe be several rainy days during this period, weather will get bedder and bedder during the trip, but the trip will not be completely overcrowded like in october.
My experience: I am climbing and trekking in the Alps since 3 Years, mostly on a weekly basis. Did several High mountain Tours in the Alps including glaciers and demanding via ferratas. I did already a lot of planning for the Trip, including much literature on altitude sickness and internet researches about pssobile routes and the general situation in the Khumbu.
As a person I am very flexible, open-minded and companionable.
Doesn’t matter if you are a men or a women.

Hey Lukas, If you want to do Pin Parvati Pass, 17, 500 feet (In Himachal, India) in teh second half of August, maybe as a preparatory trek for EBC, let me know. I want to do the pass but need some company. Budget will be 20k INR or 320 USD Around 13-14 Days
