Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek
Hello,
I am planning to go on the EBC & Gokyo Lakes Trek.
So far my planning is from Gokyo Valley up to Gokyo, and then east towards Cho La Pass & EBC. But I could also do the “normal” itinerary going through EBC before and then Gokyo.
So far my itinerary looks like the following. This is not a rigid itinerary and sure can be modified before and once we get there.
I am looking for trekking partner(s). I am not planning to get a guide or porters unless it is necessary. Let me know if you want to do something similar in the same dates.
I do not have a fixed budget for this. I am not looking to get the pricey expensive places though. Just the normal thing!

Hi Mathieu,
I like your plan. It roughly fits my ideas and schedule. I will be doing the Annapurna Circuit until the end of April and afterwards I would like to take on EBC and Gokyo Ri. Hence, timing sounds good.
I do not have planned this thoroughly yet but as you, I’d prefer to go without a guide and make this a classic Teahouse trek that doesn’t blow up my budget. Actual itineraries can be agreed on easily I guess. Gokyo is supposed to offer some of the most amazing views in the Everest region!
Drop me a message if you’re keen to stay in contact 🙂

Hi Mathieu, I’m looking to do the same trek. I arrive in Kathmandu April 28th. Are you still looking for people to join you?
