Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek

Hi guys
I’ve been planning this for a while, I’ve got some friends who work for a travel company in Ktm who are hooking me up with a guide, should be around 20-25 usd/day.
I’d love to fin someone who’s a good laugh and can have some banter. Pretty keen on getting some nice photos and experiencing as much cultural stuff as I can in the trip.
I’m on a bit of a schedule, I need to be back in Kathmandu no later than 5th of February as I need to be back in pokhara by the 6th of February. I have a friend who just finished the trek in 16 days, I’m hoping to do EBC then back down to lobuche, up to gokyo and down through phortse and namche. I’ve only factored in 2 rest/acclimatisation days one of which I want to do the Sherpa villages side trip in namche and then 1 or 2 rest days in gokyo doing gokyo Ri and scoundrels viewpoint. I’ve drawn up a pretty rough idea of how I want to do it if you ask I can provide it.
The budget I’ve said i haven’t given much thought to so take it with a grain of salt

  1. Hi Kurt, I’m keen to do exactly the trek that you want to do, and I’m keen to start at the exact same time! I also enjoy a good laugh, and have a band new GoPro for some schweet footage 🙂 I’m also chatting to other chaps on who are keen on a very similar timeframe (Sebastian and Preston). If you’re keen to team up, let’s chat on WhatsApp – my number is +27710850522.
