Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek

Going up the three pass route – if weather conditions permit.

Flight into Lukla on the 20th 7:30am. Contact me if you are interested – I’m in Kathmandu now.

Not hiring a guide or porter. It’s easy enough to do without.

    • Hi Bastain,
Yes, the plan is still to go ahead with the said trek. It appears to be much more interesting than the usual Annapurna trek – if we can get well acclimatized at everest then goyko lakes should be a lot easier although we would still have to be cautious of the altitude. We may even be able to pass over one of the three pass routes to get there – but that would depend on weather more than anything. I have a GPS and am going to get a map – many independent trekkers have done it but that all depends if anyone in my company is comfortable doing it too. It is 2 days from upper everest – staying in teahouses both days, no camping the entire trek.
Again, I’m open to anything and willing to have company for just the everest trek or Goyko lakes trek if you are under a time limit.
I’ll be staying at the Fuji Inn in Thamel and arriving on the 17th at 12:30 from South Korea.
