EBC trek late september

My name is Yvonne. I’m from Hong Kong. I wanna trek the EBC in late september. With the public holidays and annual leave, I will arrive KTM on the 26/9 and depart on the 13/10. I have not pressed the confirmed button yet, but this is the only available flight for me:
Arrival: 26/9 – 21:50
Departure: 13/10 – 23:30

I’m 25. I have no altitude experience. My travel experience was only bagpacking doing an iceland full circle alone. I think I am reasonably fit but I am not an expert. (I run once a week and sometimes swim.) I would like to trek slowly (about 15 days on the trek), take plenty of short breaks and enjoy the view and photography. I wish to trek with 1-2 people (not a big group), otherwise, I’m trekking alone with a porter and a guide.

I believe trekking with a new friend is part of the trip 😀 If you want, we can trek together.

This is the plan suggested by my guide: (He is quite famous on several travel blogs)
Day 01 welcome you in Kathmandu airport (1350m) Transfer to Hotel

  1. Hi Yvonne,

I really like your itinerary. I am heading to Nepal for trekking around 18-20/9 through 18-20/10 2013 and looking for a group to join. Your itinerary is very attractive, but I was hoping for more than just 2 people in the group.

This is my first time in Nepal, so I want to learn and take away from this as much as possible.

I am from Laos and very excited about my trip. Will you be open to have more people to join?
    Best travel

  2. Hi Yvonne. Your itinerary sounds pretty good! I arrive in Kathmandu on the 23rd of September and will be there for a couple of days I definitely think this experience will be better with another person. This will be my first time in Nepal and I have no trekking experience, but am pretty fit and looking forward to the challenge. If my timing works for you let me know and we can sort something out.

Look forward to hearing from you.
