Langtang Valley Trek

Dhunche-Gosaikunda-Kathmandu (5/6 days)

Hello folks,

I’m planning a short trek from Dhunche to Gosaikunda and back to KTM. We will go to Dhunche in a bus. My dates are flexible but ideally I would like to leave between 31st Oct and 2nd November. Not in the best of shape right now so we definitely will not be rushing the trek. Accommodation at tea houses/lodges. No guides or porters, we will find our own path in this adventure (more on that later).

A bit more about myself – born in Nepal but bred and working in sunny Singapore. Light trekking experience in Nepal (poon hill), Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan. I walk painfully slowly (it’s safer!), so if you are Flash then I won’t be much fun. Always looking for a beer (or four) and the end of a long day’s trek. I speak Nepali fluently and hence have opted to go without a guide.
