dhal bat to go

All you can eat lentils? Mmmm….
Tentative plan with Matt from UK on trekkingpartners – 2/10ish-3/1ish. Wish to take advantage of side day trips and the NATT trails that avoid the roads.
I arrive in KTM on January 10 and am flexible through the end of February. Ideally, I would like to complete the AC, but open to possible weather conditions or others prearranged thoughts/plans. Maybe I should be more concerned about the cold nights in Mustang/Thorong La Pass? I’m thinking gear up with good down bags, jackets and mitts and hope the weather cooperates. I’m willing to hangout before pass for several days if need be, awaiting reasonable weather. than I am? Planning to complete Langtang-Helambu 1/12ish-1/30ish.
I’m fit, with a great number of day hikes under my belt, but looking to take advantage of the time I have available to soak in the experience, relatively slow and steady.

  1. Hey, have you made any progress in planning? I was thinking about doing the same thing (starting sometime around the 16th of Jan and finishing before 6th of Feb). See my message here http://www.trekkingpartners.com/requests/annapurna-circuit-in-january/
Let me know if you are interested.

  2. Hizo – Sorry, I’m just now replying. Really hoping to do Langtang-Helambu with another trekkingpartner 1/12ish-1/30ish, then AC 2/10ish-3/1ish. Let me know if there’s any chance we might get on the trail together. Best. Kris

  3. Hi Kris!

I would be interested in joining you on the AC. Perhaps we can meet up for tea and discuss, when you’re finished with Langtang.

    Happy trekking!
